Carmarthen Quins will welcome Cardiff RFC to Carmarthen Park on Saturday 14th February for the third round Super Rygbi Cymru Cup clash.
Quins’ second round game, against Pontypool, fell foul of the weather last weekend with persistent heavy rain making the surface at Pontypool Park unplayable.
Iori Badham returns to the starting XV having last featured for the Quins in the opening round of the SRC Cup in January.
He’s joined in the back three by Dylan Richards and Thomas Williams. Ilan Phillips is joined in midfield by Scarlets’ Gabe McDonald, with Ifan Davies and Rhodri Lewis the halfback pairing.
In the pack Gruff Williams gets his first start of the season as he lines up in the front row alongside captain Shaun Evans and tighthead prop Connor Allen. Ryan Bean and Lee Taylor add valuable experience to the second row. Iestyn Wood, Ben Williams and Lewys Millin pack down in the back row.
