An evening with Shane Williams

We are delighted to announce that we’ll be hosting an evening with Shane Williams and friends at the Clubhouse this autumn.

Join us on Friday 9 October for an entertaining evening with one of best to ever wear the red of Wales.

A sensation on the wing Williams played 141 games for the Ospreys, having made 129 appearances for Neath before the inception of regional rugby in 2003.

Williams went on to make a name for himself on the international stage, playing 87 games and becoming the record try scorer for Wales in the process. He is also fourth on the international list of leading try scorers.

From humble roots in the Amman Valley, Williams went on to represent Wales at Rugby World Cups, is a Grand Slam winner, and represented the British and Irish Lions aswell as the Barbarians.

He became the first Welshman to be named IRB (World Rugby) Player of the Year, winning the accolade in 2008.
